Jennings was senior regional sales manager at Sesame and takes on responsibility for recruiting new mortgage and protection firms to the network.
He will also lead the development of the network’s protection firms, which is an area of business the group has grown significantly over recent years.
Jennings will report into Sesame’s new managing director, who will be announced imminently.

“This will also encompass David driving our adviser growth across the network as a whole, by leading our experienced recruitment team that delivered impressive results in 2018 and has had a great start to 2019.
“David’s built up a great rapport with our members and he has all the right attributes for this new role.”
Support business modelling
Jennings, said: “Our team is committed to working closely with advisory firms and giving them all the tools they need to grow, while all the time ensuring they do this safely by managing and mitigating their business risks.
“This is something we’re looking to expand further with more support for firms on business modelling, and through the adoption of a more consultative process across our protection network.”
Sesame confirmed a restructure in November last year, as Martin Schultheiss moved from COO to group managing director, reporting to executive chairman John Cowan, and Ross Liston joined as MD of Bankhall and PMS, ahead of an investment drive.
The new Sesame MD appointment is expected imminently.
