Clements (pictured) claimed the titles of Mortgage Journalist of the Year (B2B) and Financial B2B Story of the Year for her work last year.
This included the article NatWest tells landlord to evict tenant on benefits or pay £2.5k in ERCs, which won her the Story of the Year crown.
As a result of this story and a campaign led by landlord Helena McAleer and supported by Mortgage Solutions, NatWest and other lenders reversed their policies on not accepting tenants on benefits.
“I’m thrilled to have won two titles at the Headlinemoney awards and see the efforts of the last year recognised,” she said.
“The awards are testament to the great work we do at Mortgage Solutions to get the best stories in the industry and I’d like to thank everyone who helped with that during the year.”
Other nominations
The Headlinemoney Awards recognise the best of the financial services journalism and press relations industry over the previous year.
Mortgage Solutions group editor Victoria Hartley and features and contributing editor Owain Thomas were also shortlisted in the Mortgage Journalist of the Year (B2B) category.
