Poll: Is it time to standardise leasehold expiry terms? Vote now
In our latest poll, Mortgage Solutions asks is it time for lenders to standardise leasehold expiry lending terms?

The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has urged lenders to standardise their policies on unexpired leases, ideally to around 55 years.

The call came after some lenders raised the required length of leases to 80 or even 90 years, with a knock-on effect on valuations.

Has this affected many of your cases? Vote now in this week’s poll.

Do you want lenders to standardise terms on unexpired leases?
