An estate agent has removed a series of positive Google reviews after doubts were raised over whether they were genuine.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received a complaint about the range of favourable Google Reviews for Ace Relocations, a Lond0n-based estate agent, which appeared on the right-hand side of the page when ‘Ace Relocations’ was searched for on Google.

The complainant challenged whether the reviews were genuine, arguing that they may have been paid for.

Ace Relocations elected to remove the questionable reviews, and has said that in future it will be monitoring its reviews. As a result, the complaint has been informally resolved.

Ace Relocations currently has a rating of 4.2 out of five from 181 reviews on the search engine.
