Neil Wyatt, head of intermediary distribution at Platform, is to leave the lender at the end of September.

Wyatt (pictured) has spent 13 years at Platform, including more than six years in his present role.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, including stints with GMAC, Mortgages plc and Connect Mortgage Services, prior to joining Platform in 2006.

Wyatt will be replaced by Richard Daibell, who is currently national account manager at Platform.

Gordon Soutar, managing director of mortgages at The Co-operative Bank, said: “Neil Wyatt has been a valued member of the Platform team for a number of years and has now decided to take the next step in his career.

“We are delighted to confirm Richard Daibell as our new head of intermediary relationships, he already has strong relationships within the broker community, established over more than 18 years at Platform.

“Richard will continue our focus to build the Platform business as the intermediary mortgage market remains a key priority for The Co-operative Bank. I want to thank Neil for his service to Platform and we wish him well with his new role when he leaves us at the end of September.”
