Just Mortgages trials broker hub for estate agents
Just Mortgages has set up a mortgage broker hub to support estate agents and developers.

The service is aimed at agents and developers who do not have ties with mortgage advice firms.

Once instructed, a mortgage broker from Just Mortgages will meet with the buyer in person to identify their mortgage and protection needs.

The hub also gives users access to a 400-strong support team.

The venture is being trialled in South Wales with four brokers employed by Just Mortgages. There are plans to expand to the rest of Wales and England.

There is no contract or obligation on estate agents to use Just Mortgages’ brokers and the liability remains with Just Mortgages. The company will pay an introduction fee on new business.

Gareth Lowndes (pictured), divisional sales director in charge of the hub, said: “Having a broker working closely alongside developers and estate agents will enable them to move from offer to completion as quickly as possible. This is a valuable new offering for agents without brokerage arrangements already in place, and we are confident that the model will be scalable to other parts of the country.”
