Newcastle Intermediaries has hired three business development managers (BDMs) to cover the Midlands, South West and Home Counties and the North East and Scotland.

Jamie Cullen, who now looks after the South West and Home Counties, has over 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has previously worked for almost 10 years in the intermediary mortgages sector.

Mark Wilkinson, the new BDM for North East and Scotland, has had a career in financial services for over 13 years. Previously a branch manager for the society, he re-joined Newcastle Building Society’s intermediary arm after spending time working for Virgin Money and Pepper Money.

Kam Gill, Midlands BDM, has eight years’ experience in the financial services industry. He previously worked at Metro Bank as a business development manager and held various other roles across Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland.

John Truswell (pictured), head of intermediary mortgages at Newcastle Building Society, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Mark, Jamie and Kam into the intermediary arm of our growing team of BDMS.
