Lloyds Banking Group has signed up to be part of Mortgage Brain’s digital mortgage application system Lendex.

It is expected that Halifax will be the first of the banking giant’s brands to be available through Lendex.

Mortgage brokers will be able to request a decision in principle and submit mortgage applications directly to all participating lenders’ back office systems using one login as well as administer and track full mortgage applications.

The Lendex software has been in pilot mode this year and will be launched in phases in 2020.

Mark Lofthouse, chief executive of Mortgage Brain, said: “We are delighted that Lloyds Banking Group has put their faith in Mortgage Brain to deliver. It is hoped that Halifax will be the first on Lendex followed by the other Lloyds Banking Group brands.”
