Paradigm promises to beef up mortgage helpdesk team following promotions
Tom Hunt and Alex Vaughan-Tift have been promoted to business development consultants at Paradigm Mortgage Services, with the distributor pledging further appointments to strengthen its helpdesk team.

Both previously held the role of mortgage technical services advisers.

In the new posts, they will be tasked with supporting the mortgage helpdesk team, answering queries from members and helping place complex cases.

They will also work closely member firms, promoting other services from the group such as protection and compliance.

Paradigm said usage of its mortgage helpdesk has increased significantly, with enquiries up by 12 per cent over the last 12 months. It said it plans to add further staff to the helpdesk team to help deal with this demand.

Bob Hunt (pictured), chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, said that both Hunt and Vaughan-Tift had already proven themselves within the firm.

He added: “As Paradigm continues to grow, so does our need for quality staff and we will be recruiting further throughout 2020, especially given the increased popularity of our mortgage helpdesk service. It’s a great start to the year as we seek to broaden our footprint among the intermediary industry.”
