Mortgage Solutions is continuing to release the video presentations from September’s Mortgage Administrator Ivent every Wednesday to watch at your leisure.

The next two presentations from the Ivent focus on the key changes within regulation and compliance, and understanding lender operations. They are:

Regulation and compliance update
Paul Fothergill, compliance policy and regulatory development manager, Sesame Bankhall Group

In this session, Paul Fothergill highlights how administrators can ensure they are keeping on top of compliance obligations. And he asks what is your role in helping identify and reporting potentially fraudulent activities?

A day in the life of a lender
Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediary distribution, Accord Mortgages

Next up, Jeremy Duncombe explains why lenders make the lending decisions they do, particularly in the current climate and why some ask for certain documentation when others don’t.

He also addresses what leads to the withdrawal of products or a change of criteria, sometimes with little notice, and how administrators can ensure their submissions are right first time.

The Mortgage Administrator Ivent 2020 is now accessible on demand for free to all mortgage administrators via the following registration link: https://www.mortgagesolutions.co.uk/events/mortgage-administrator-ivent
