The Openwork Partnership appoints propositions director and MD
The Openwork Partnership has hired former Santander Asset Management executive Rob Askham as its propositions director, and ex-managing director of Newcastle Financial Advisers Stuart Dodson as its managing director.

 

Both are new roles aimed to strengthen the leadership team.

In his role at Openwork, Askham will focus on development and the delivery of products and service, as well as marketing and the advice and sales process.

Askham worked with Santander for around 21 years and was most recently commercial director of its Asset Management subsidiary for nearly 12 years, and before that worked as the marketing manager for the same company.

Dodson takes on the role of managing director, and before that was managing director for Newcastle Financial Advisers for over eight years.

Newcastle Financial Advisers is an appointed representative of The Openwork Partnership and provides advice on investments, pensions, life and protection insurance and inheritance tax planning.

Dodson was head of financial consultancy at Legal and General for over a year, and before that was a national partnership manager at The Money Advice Service for over three years.

He is also the chair of The Openwork Partnership Shareholder Council, is supported by network directors: director of learning and acquisition Claire Limon, Liam Richards, strategic partner director, and Askham.
