Aspen Bridging to plant a tree for every completed case
Aspen Bridging has committed to planting a tree for every case completed from now on, which it says will remove more than 200 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere by 2025.

The pledge will also reduce the lender’s overall scope one and two indirect emissions to below net zero in 2022 for the UK Government Environmental Reporting Guidelines.

The lender currently funds green projects, such as the £4.55m development exit bridge on a development in Kent, and refurbishment projects across the UK to improve EPC ratings, which it will continue to invest in.

Jack Coombs (pictured), director at Aspen Bridging, said: “It is vital that every business in the finance sector recognises the impact it has on the environment and takes steps to address its CO2 emissions.

“The commitment we’ve made today not only means we’ll offset beyond Net Zero for our Scope one and two emissions from 2022, but is also futureproof as we will maintain this position as we grow and add extra staff over the coming months and years.”
