London-based advisers LDNfinance has announced the appointment of John Symons as a mortgage adviser.

Experienced in complex mortgages, Symons, who previously worked at Weystone Financial and Knight Frank Finance, brings to the property finance brokerage his knowledge of products and clients within the high net worth and ultra-high net worth sector.

Symons said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at LDNfinance. I have been aware of the brokerage for a while, closely following their recent successes, and can’t wait to be part of their award-winning team.”

Greg Cunnington, chief operating officer, said: “I’m thrilled John has joined our team, starting a new chapter with LDNfinance. His expertise will complement our advisers and I have no doubt he will be very successful with us.”

A year of new starters at LDNfinance

LDNfinance, established in 2017, said it had made nine other hires across the business this year. In April, Mortgage Solutions reported on three of these as Martin Ball and Daniel Everritt joined as advisers on the residential team and Allyson Hautot was hired as paraplanner.
