Legal and General (L&G) will give users of the Smartr365 CRM platform access to its Ignite mortgage research and sourcing system with no licence fees.

Users of Smartr365 who choose Ignite as a sourcing provider will be able to pre-populate their searches with existing data as well as have regulatory documents returned and saved automatically on the CRM platform.

Jodie White (pictured), head of product and transformation at Legal and General Technology, said: “The partnering of Smartr365 with our recently refreshed mortgage research and sourcing platform, Legal and General Ignite, marks another important step towards a fully streamlined mortgage journey as well as the continued evolution of our flagship tool.

“With the help of Legal and General Ignite, advisers using Smartr365 will not only be able to focus more of their time on providing bespoke, quality advice to their clients, but it will also ensure they are reaching the best possible customer outcomes.”

Conor Murphy, CEO and founder of Smartr365, added: “Our longstanding partnership with Legal and General continues to pay dividends for the adviser community and is testament to the growing appetite for innovation and digitisation within the UK mortgage market. Smartr365 is already the platform of choice for just shy of 4,000 brokers in the UK, and partnerships such as this are driving further market adoption.

“The mortgage market is excited about the benefits that good technology tools bring, and we are equally thrilled to provide them. Digitisation is key to unlocking the next stage of the mortgage market through heightened efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. This is another significant step in our partnership, with further exciting news to follow in the not-so-distant future.”
