Primis appoints Blackburn to key account director
Primis has appointed Jo Blackburn to the role of key account director with immediate effect to support its broker service.
Blackburn has worked for Primis for more than seven years, having joined as head of broker services in 2017. She was then appointed operations director in the following year.
In her role as key account director, she will provide a single senior account management role to help firms with their strategic plans as well as arrange opportunities for development.
Blackburn will work alongside Claire Madge, sales director.
Blackburn will be responsible for overseeing key broker relationships and supporting their growth. She will continue to carry out her existing responsibilities to offer an integrated approach for Primis’ partners.
Richard Howells, Primis’ group managing director, financial services at LSL, said, “Jo’s deep understanding of our operations, vast experience within the financial services industry and her strong relationship and communication skills will undoubtedly contribute to the success of both roles.

“Her contribution in this expanded role will be crucial as we continue to drive our business forward.”
Blackburn (pictured) added: “I am thrilled to be playing such an important part in Primis’ strategy for the future. Our key partners need our support more now than ever, and this role will enable me to deliver exactly that.”
Last month, Primis’ parent company LSL announced its financial services division’s profit rose to £5m in 2023. This included Primis, TMA Club and Linear Financial Solutions. The financial services division expanded its share of the purchase and remortgage market to a record 10.7% in 2023, up from 10.5% previously.
