He will replace Simon Embley, who is currently chair of the company.
Prakash was previously group chief operating officer at Evelyn Partners, appointed in 2022, where he led growth across its wealth, professional and fund services. He is currently a board director for Softcat and Uber in the UK.
Previously, Prakash served as director general at the UK government, where he scaled digital pensions services for 13 million customers. He has also held senior board positions at Centrica, Morgan Stanley, Sage and Avaya. Further, he received a CBE last year for services to the advancement of technology professionals.
His career spans financial services, technology and the public sector.
Pivotal Growth has more than 500 professional advisers in its network and has completed 19 acquisitions, including Radcliffe & Newlands Mortgages at the start of this year.
