Pocock was previously a business development manager (BDM) at the firm, and prior to that, she was a relationship manager for the South West at Aldermore. Before that, she began her career as an assistant in Newbury Building Society’s underwriting team in 2015.
Long has been at the firm for 15 years and has held a variety of roles, including as account manager and senior BDM. Before that, he was at Halifax for over six years in various roles.
Both Pocock and Long have worked in Newbury Building Society’s intermediary sales team since its inception in 2016.
In her new role, Pocock will oversee sales adviser support and service delivery, making sure the team’s standards of excellence are maintained.
Long will utilise his experience as a senior BDM in his new position, which will see him take responsibility for leading the BDMs at the society. The firm said he will concentrate on driving its introduced sales strategy.
