Sesame Network has appointed Araminta Hoare as a growth consultant to work with firms on plans to “strengthen their businesses and support long-term success”.

She will report to Toni Smith, director of Sesame Bankhall Group, and will work with advisers to shape growth plans that are “practical, achievable and tailored”.

Hoare joins from Primis, where she worked for around three years, most recently as regional sales director for the Midlands.

Prior to that, she was partnerships development manager at St James’s Place Wealth Management for around a year.

She has also held roles at Personal Touch Finance Services, including as recruitment development manager and product team manager. Before that, she was a mortgage broker at Private Finance for around a year.

Smith said: “We want Sesame to be the proactive partner for life for every firm, supporting them to start, run, grow and exit their businesses successfully. Araminta’s appointment is a big step in that direction. She brings the experience and insight advisers need to turn growth plans into real progress, and that’s good news for every firm in our network.”

Hoare added: “Every firm has its own definition of growth. My role is to listen, understand what success looks like for them, and help build plans that work in the real world. I’m looking forward to working closely with advisers and the rest of the Sesame team to make that happen.”

Sesame Bankhall Group recently appointed Shane Wright to the newly created role of chief technology officer.
