Lender BLG hires former NatWest director
Development finance lender Business Lending Group (BLG) has appointed a new regional director.

Former NatWest relationship director Tracey Abbott has joined the group as regional director for the South West.

BLG offers mezzanine, joint venture and equity finance loans to house builders and developers and is led by chairman Peter Wade who previously spent 17 years at GE Money.

Wade said: “Over the last few years, BLG has seen demand for development finance in the south west of England increase significantly. Dave Edwards has done a sterling job managing our existing developer and broker relationships, so that we now fund many property schemes in this busy region. With Tracey on-board, we are now able to increase the number of developers we can support across the south west.”

Abbott said: “I am delighted to join BLG Development Finance whose dedicated team share my passion for property development and finding solutions that facilitate great development schemes. I very much look forward to this exciting opportunity and putting many years of real estate experience to positive use.”
