VM Finance was established in 2018 and Evans was appointed head of lending, before moving up to deputy CEO in January 2023. He has supported the lender in shaping its business development strategy, utilising his experience in international banking and finance.
Evans’ relationship-led approach has seen the lender strengthen client partnerships and enhance its position as a trusted lender.
VM Finance provides development finance, bridging loans and property investment funding and advises on mainstream mortgages.
Courtney Campbell, president and CEO of VM Group, said: “Andrew’s appointment as CEO reflects his strategic insight, operational discipline and consistent focus on delivering value through tailored financing solutions. He is well-positioned to lead VM Finance into its next phase of growth.”
Evans (pictured) added: “Having worked tirelessly and passionately alongside Leighton for the past seven years, I am enthusiastic and determined to take the business to the next level.

“We are committed to doing things differently and by offering brokers, investors and property developers a partnership rather than simply a payout, we’ve cultivated a true collaborative model for our clients.”
Evans added: “We’ve maintained the values of the 1878-founded VM and remain committed to relationship-led lending.
“This is set to be a pivotal year for VM Finance as we continue the growth trajectory on the foundations set by the team under Leighton’s leadership over the past seven years. We are excited about what’s to come.”
