The Gosport-based distributor has hired Clare Sadler and Anna Thomson as team leader and administrator respectively in the new business team.
Sadler has previously worked at Britannia Building Society, Preferred Mortgages, Mortgage plc, Advantage and Nationwide.
Thomson has worked at both Barclays and Abbey National. She had a previous stint at SMS from 2001 to 2008 and re-joins from NCI Resources Ltd.
Chief executive officer Ian Balfour (pictured) said: “SMS has seen a steady increase in new business over the last six months and with enquiry levels running higher every month this year, we wanted to ensure that our service would not suffer. So I am delighted to welcome back Anna to SMS and welcome Clare to the team. Both of them are vastly experienced in our market and I know that our introducers will enjoy working with them.”
