MS poll: Credit crunch mark II – is it time to be scared yet?
The latest Credit Conditions survey from the Bank of England shows UK lenders have been worried about wholesale funding for six months and expect problems to continue in Q1.

However, on the upside, providers have lending quotas to fill, plenty of plans for product innovation and there will be competition from new mortgage lenders, including Virgin and Tescos, to drive on the market.

No-one wants it, but we have to ask the question – do you expect the mortgage market to be knocked off course by another credit crunch in 2012?

Vote now in this week’s Mortgage Solutions poll.
