‘The idea only banks can create or fund online platforms would be a fallacy’ – Star Letter 05/05/2017
Each week Mortgage Solutions and its sister title Specialist Lending Solutions looks back at the week's most thoughtful, thought provoking and controversial comments to single out the Star Letter.

This week our Star Letter goes to Adam Hosker for his comment under the article: BSA conference: Lenders readying as FCA expected to ‘open door’ to guided online mortgage advice.

He said: “If the doors are opened, I am not sure why the broker market share will fall.

“Are you going to go through an online advice process which selects between two products, or an online advice process that has hundreds of products, finding the best for your needs and requirements?

“The idea that only banks can create or fund online platforms would be a fallacy – limited panel v comprehensive all over again.”
