Progress from Royal Liver has increased its maximum level for critical illness cover to £1m with immediate effect.
The increased cover is available to advisers recommending level or decreasing life cover, with a corresponding increase for family income cover, with accelerated critical illness cover.
Stephen Edwards, head of protection products at Progress, said the change allowed advisers to recommend a £1m sum without concerning themselves with the automatic limits that GP reports can bring.
Advisers can also benefit from in-depth tele-underwriting.
