I believe that we had reached a more than satisfactory way of assessing affordability before MMR was fully implemented. Advise your clients to adjust their lifestyle 6 months before you decide to move. Reduce expenditure on food, clothing, travel, holidays and recreation.
Oh and don’t forget to cancel your pension, child care, dental subscription and health insurance. In other words put your family at risk and contribute to a decline in consumer spending and create another recession. No-one wants a return to the risky lending of the past, but let’s be sensible.
