Kensington has launched a guide for brokers who want to grow their businesses which provides tips on marketing and compliance to help them promote their services.

It includes practical information for brokers about how they can get the most out of their website and social media. It includes a section for intermediaries who are interested in engaging in advertising, how to get started in PR and what methods they can use to communicate directly with potential clients.

Alex Hammond, head of marketing and communications at Kensington, said: “Our marketing toolkit is an invaluable resource for those brokers who are looking to grow their business potential.”

Hammond said the lender wants to share its 20 years’ experience with the broker community. It last launched a marketing toolkit in 2005 and due to changes in the regulatory landscape the lender decided to revamp the guide.

“A great deal has changed since then both in terms of the emergence of new digital marketing tools that we all have access to and the regulatory landscape. So we wanted to take a tool that has proven so popular amongst brokers in the past, and reinvigorate it with new information for 2015.”
