The Business Mortgage Company (TBMC), has offered non-regulated brokers access to buy-to-let (BTL) lenders’ products.

Non-regulated brokers will now be able to use TBMC’s free buy-to-let sourcing and quotation system to source buy-to-let mortgages for their clients and submit the application to TBMC.

Andy Young, chief executive at TBMC, said non-regulated brokers have lost business because most buy-to-let lenders will only accept buy-to-let applications from FSA regulated brokers.

He added: “The buy-to-let mortgage market is difficult for brokers as the number of lenders and products available has drastically reduced and criteria is still tight but it is even more difficult for non-regulated brokers. It is important for TBMC to support our non-regulated introducers so that they continue to write business.”
