Eighty-five per cent of Legal & General Mortgage Club members recorded the highest ever levels of satisfaction with the service provided by the Club, its annual survey has showed.

One thousand intermediaries completed the survey, the highest level of response from Club members surveyed.

The survey has been running for 12 years, giving members the opportunity to give their views about the Mortgage Club.

L&G said after feedback, some of the key initiatives implemented by the Club, more memebr communication, securing new lending sources and exclusives and the launch of Brokering Change – a charitable scheme launched last year giving member firms the opportunity to participate in relevant fundraising.

Ben Thompson, managing director, Legal & General Mortgage Club said: “We are really delighted that so many people took the time to complete our survey and give us their valuable opinions that will help us to develop and enhance our proposition.

“Our members told us they wanted us to continue our search for new lenders – something that we hope to deliver on later in the year – and that they wanted us to improve the way we communicate with them about the withdrawal of products.

“We’ll be using all the information from the survey to ensure we continue to improve our services and those with our lender partnerships, so that we continue to give our members the best possible chance of doing good business in these difficult times.”

The survey also asks members to rate L&G’s lender partners, the results of which will be revealed at the Mortgage Club awards on June 15 at The Guildhall.
