Spicerhaart recruits rival firm director to grow mortgage business

Spicerhaart has appointed the former financial services director of rival estate agent Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward to its senior management team to grow the mortgage business.

John Phillips will take up the position of national operations director for financial services and lending partnerships.

Phillips spent 23 years at Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward where he grew the financial services division from three to 80 advisers.

He said: “I’ve admired the company from afar for many years and am looking forward to the challenge of making a highly successful company even more successful.”

Phillips will be also be responsible for increasing lender relationships for surveys and asset management.

Further unconfirmed changes have been made to Spicerhaart’s senior management team.
