Mortgage Brain has added several new features and improvements to its ConveyancingBrain software following market developments and feedback from brokers.

The technology provider said the changes would make communication between the adviser, solicitor and client more responsive, ensuring that important actions were less likely to be missed.

Intermediaries using the service will receive automated emails alerting them to actions required or feedback from solicitors on current cases, meaning they will not need to be logged in to the ConveyancingBrain system to stay in touch with cases.

“One of the changes is the option to obtain conveyancing quotes buying through a limited company,” a MortgageBrain spokesman told Mortgage Solutions.

“That was quite a big change in the market last year and at the time there wasn’t capacity for doing that.”

Advisers using the system also have the choice to provide their clients with a conveyancing quote with, or without, a solicitor’s name, while a new re-quote feature allows a fresh conveyancing quote to be obtained without having to retype client information.

Mortgage Brain CEO Mark Lofthouse added that listening to customers and responding to market changes was paramount to the provider.

“Over 1,000 advisers are currently using ConveyancingBrain and the latest enhancements we’ve made to the system, particularly its case tracking functionality, will make it even easier for them to stay on top of their cases, liaise or communicate with a solicitor and provide a fully compliant audit trail during the process,” he said.
