Company CEO Dave Harris confirmed the death with great ‘regret and sadness’ yesterday.

He said: “Our hearts and thoughts are very much with Vaughn’s family, especially his three children, at what must be an exceptionally difficult time.”

Vaughn joined More2life as a telephone account manager in February 2017 and quickly endeared himself to all those who worked with and alongside him, including the equity release advisers he dealt with on a daily basis, who would regularly compliment him on his helpful and knowledgeable service, said Harris.

Harris added: “Vaughn had a big character and his sudden death in such unexpected circumstances makes the loss all the harder to bear. We will miss him dearly.”
