Specialist mortgage lender Hodge has appointed Emma Graham as its new business development director, effective from 19 August.

Graham joins Hodge after three years as national account manager for Principality Building Society and brings with her more than two decades of experience in financial services.

She will lead the firm’s business development team as it seeks to enhance its existing product range and invest in new markets.

Graham has experience managing and developing relationships across a range of national mortgage networks and clubs.

Hodge said following several years as Principality’s national account manager under her belt, Graham had developed contact management strategies, managed field-based sales teams and knew the mortgage market inside out.

Wide range of experience

Hodge’s managing director of mortgages, Matt Burton, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Emma to the team. She brings with her such a wide range of experience – having held roles including business development manager, head of marketing and product development manager.

“Emma is someone that really knows how important it is to create products for customers. At a time when Hodge is looking to invest in new markets and improve upon the products we currently offer, Emma’s arrival is eagerly anticipated.”

Graham added: “I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and working with the great team at Hodge.”
