Barclays ups rates on dozens of product transfers

Barclays has made changes to 30 product transfer deals, increasing rates on mortgages up to 90 per cent loan to value (LTV) and withdrawing options.

 

The bank has raised rates on 28 deals in its Reward range, which take effect from today.

These include:

1.48 per cent two-year fixed, zero fee, 60 per cent LTV, increased to to 1.54 per cent

2.06 per cent two-year tracker, zero fee, 85 per cent LTV, increased to to 2.49 per cent

1.68 per cent two-year fixed, £999 product fee, 85 per cent LTV, increased to 1.99 per cent

2.06 per cent two-year fixed, zero fee, 90 per cent LTV, increased to 2.54 per cent

2.84 per cent two-year fixed, zero fee, over 90 per cent LTV, increased to 2.94 per cent.

Barclays has also withdrawn two product transfer options; a 1.30 per cent two-year fixed, £299 product fee, 60 per cent LTV and a 2.24 per cent offset term tracker, £1,999 product fee, 80 per cent LTV.
