Mortgage Brain adds Barclays to its cloud-based platform.

The platform is available to all intermediaries as a standalone service or through integrations such as Mortgage Brain’s CRM, The Key, its sourcing system Sourcing Brand and users on One Mortgage System (OMS).

Submissions Brain reduces the need for advisers to log in to multiple systems to complete tasks and allows for a client’s data to be used multiple times.

It transfers data directly to a lender’s system, allowing a decision in principle (DIP) to be filled in. Through the system, some lenders enable intermediaries to submit a DIP, receive DIP responses, submit full mortgage applications and monitor the progress of a case.

Barclays initially launched the trial of Submissions Brain with broker firm Fluent Mortgages and today it has been rolled out to the whole of market.

‘A huge milestone for Submissions Brain’

Neil Wyatt, sales and marketing director at Mortgage Brain, said: “Barclays is one of the UK’s biggest lenders, so it’s a huge milestone to welcome them onto Submissions Brain.

“The platform is providing tangible time-saving benefits to mortgage advisers of all sizes and with the succession of lenders who have joined over the last 12 months, it clearly demonstrates the growing reputation of Submissions Brain.”
