From 20 March, the bank will cut select two- and three-year fixed rates by as much as 0.15% and raise select five-year fixed rates by up to 0.11%.
This week, Halifax reduced the minimum loan size available for further advance borrowing from £10,000 to £5,000, which it said would give borrowers more choice and help them access finance to retrofit their homes.
Chorley BS introduces PT proc fees
Chorley Building Society has brought in procuration fees for residential and buy-to-let (BTL) product transfers.
The mutual has made the change following feedback from brokers and insight into how much work is required to complete a product transfer.

From 17 March, Chorley Building Society will pay brokers a 0.2% fee on the completion of a residential or BTL product transfer.
