Market Harborough Building Society has grown its broker-facing support teams with the appointments of two specialist business development managers (BDMs).

It has appointed Victoria Taricska as a field-based BDM, covering South London and the South Coast, while Parveen Kumari-Reynolds has joined as a telephone BDM to support brokers in the North and Scotland, aligning with the mutual’s recent launch into the Scottish market.

Iain Smith, head of mortgage distribution at Market Harborough, said: “I’m delighted that Victoria and Parveen have joined our mortgage team. Between them, they bring over 40 years’ combined experience and a strong understanding of the challenges brokers face when placing more complex cases. Over the past 12 months, we’ve increased our team by 50%, reflecting our long-term commitment to brokers of maintaining personal, proactive service as demand for specialist lending continues to grow.

“Our investment in broker support is guided by our Best for Brokers Promise, which we introduced in 2024 to set a clear standard for the service, accessibility and consistency brokers can expect from us. Expanding the team is just one step in our continued investment in broker support.”

In 2025, the mutual saw a 17% in new lending to £234m, while its mortgage book grew by £17m. This included an 18% rise in bridging finance lending.

Market Harborough Building Society achieved a profit before tax of £3.6m.
