Connect IFA has appointed Nikki Haworth as group operations director and Belinda Doherty as finance director to enhance adviser support and drive its growth.

Haworth (pictured, right) will be responsible for operations and marketing in her role at Connect IFA, while supporting the network’s advisers. She was previously at compliance support network and brokerage Ingard for 16 years as a sales and marketing director. Haworth has experience working across operational and leadership functions.

Doherty (pictured, left) is a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of experience in financial services. At Connect IFA, she will oversee the network’s finance function and support its long-term objectives.

The appointments form part of Connect IFA’s investment in its people, proposition and infrastructure, the company said.

Liz Syms, CEO of Connect IFA, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nikki and Belinda to the Connect leadership team at such an exciting time for the business. Both bring exceptional experience, leadership and industry knowledge that will further strengthen our ability to support advisers and firms across the network.

“As we continue to invest in our people, technology and proposition, these appointments reflect our commitment to delivering the highest levels of service and support to our members. Nikki’s extensive experience in operations and business growth, combined with Belinda’s financial expertise and strategic insight, will be invaluable as we execute our ambitious plans for growth and continue to evolve our offering to meet the changing needs of advisers and their clients.”
