Bath Building Society has appointed Annelie Grey as its chief financial officer.

Grey joins from Principality Building Society, where she worked for nearly nine years, most recently as head of planning and performance. She has around 25 years of experience in the sector and has led teams across finance, customer operations, accounting, auditing and regulatory reporting.

Grey has also previously worked at Nationwide.

Richard Ingle, chief executive of Bath Building Society, said: “We are delighted to welcome Annelie to Bath Building Society. She brings exceptional commercial judgement and a proven track record of leading finance teams at both Principality and Nationwide Building Societies.

“Her leadership will be instrumental to further strengthening our financial resilience for the next phase of our growth strategy.”

Grey (pictured) added: “I’m excited to join the team at Bath Building Society and am looking forward to working for a member-owned organisation with a commitment to a sustainable future and improving the long-term financial resilience of its members.”
