She joined the long-term fixed rate lender in 2024, with the responsibility of managing its distribution strategy and developing its relationships across the sector.
During her time, Hunnisett oversaw April Mortgages’ launch of a 100% loan-to-value (LTV) mortgage and the lender increasing its loan-to-income (LTI) ratio to seven times income.
Announcing her departure on LinkedIn, Hunnisett (pictured) said: “To every partner, distributor, colleague, peer, journalist – and the many others who backed us along the way – thank you for believing in our vision and buying into a reshaping of the mortgage landscape that unapologetically championed the consumer.
“My time at April has concluded, but the mission to champion exceptional borrower outcomes continues.”
April Mortgages did not comment when contacted by Mortgage Solutions.
