Santander also lowered a number of five-year fixed products. Its 90% LTV five-year fixed homemover rates fell by 19bps, with the £1,499 fee deal reducing to 5.25%, while the fee-free option dropped to 5.4%.

Within the BTL range, the biggest cut was a 16bps reduction to the 75% LTV five-year fixed purchase product with a £1,749 fee, which decreased to 5.15%. The lender also reduced its 75% LTV two-year fixed purchase rate with the same fee by 11bps to 4.99%.
