Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB) has made its Sharia’a compliant Home Purchase Plan (HPP) available to intermediaries from the Mortgage Times network on a referral basis.

Intermediaries will now have access to IBB’s full range of HPP products.

Sultan Choudhury, commercial director at IBB, said the size and reach which Mortgage Times holds in the intermediary market would help boost the distribution of IBB’s Home Purchase Plan.

He added: “Working together with intermediaries from the Mortgage Times network, we can reach out to a wider audience of ethically minded customers who are looking for competitive financial products.”

Richard Stokes, director of product & provider development at The Mortgage Times, said it expected the deal to deliver outstanding success for all concerned.

He added: “We look forward to working with IBB to refer its HPP through The Mortgage Times Network. More and more of our brokers are requesting details of the Home Purchase Plan which is appealing to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.”
