Private equity firm plugs investment into Fluent Money
Fluent Money has laid out plans to become one of the main players in the specialist lending market after receiving investment from Beech Tree Private Equity (BTPE).

The distributor said it will now develop its range of services to strengthen its commitment to the intermediary market.

Fluent Money has received further investment from Mark Huggins, former managing director of financial services at Acromas Holdings, who will join the executive team to lead the firm’s unsecured lending proposition.

Andy Marsh and Adam Rudd from BTPE will join the Fluent Money board.

Kevin Hindley, CEO of The Fluent Money Group, said the firm was on “an exciting trajectory” to grow the business to the next level.

“Not only is this good news for us and our introducers, but also demonstrates the importance of the specialist lending market to the wider financial market. I am delighted to have Beech Tree Private Equity on board. By using their industry knowledge and connections, we have already started to further strengthen our core business and bring additional product lines into our portfolio,” he said.
