Jackie Uhi quits Barclays
Jackie Uhi has resigned from her post as managing director of mortgage distribution at Barclays after almost two-and-a-half years in the role.

Her onward direction is unconfirmed.

Uhi held several senior positions at Barclays before taking up the role of head of mortgages including network director, looking after the branch network across the east of England.

Before joining Barclays, Uhi spent two years as regional director for Lloyds TSB, between April 2010 and April 2012.

A spokesperson from Barclays said: “Jackie has played a crucial role in shaping Barclays’ position within the mortgage broker industry business, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

The bank confirmed a process was underway to identify the right structure for her departure and replacement. Raheel Ahmed, head of mortgages, continues to be responsible for the strategic growth of the mortgage business.
