Legal & General Mortgage Club has added Shariah-compliant lender Gatehouse Bank to its panel in an enhancement to its range of alternative finance.
Gatehouse provides buy-to-let and home purchase finance for UK residents and companies, expats and international residents looking to acquire or refinance property in England and Wales.
It offers Shariah-compliant products where customers buy properties jointly with the bank, paying rental on the portion they do not yet own.
“Sharia-compliant finance is growing in the UK and we are seeing increased demand from customers,” said Roger Evans, Gatehouse director of home finance distribution (pictured).
