Lark (pictured) joined Just Mortgages, part of the Spicerhaart group, in 2013, following 17 years at Countrywide Mortgage Services where he rose to director level.
Just Mortgages was established in 2012.
In the past year, Lark has overseen a pilot for a new online broker service, which ran in South Wales and Cardiff, and launched an offer for prime London brokers.
Paul Smith, chief executive at Spicerhaart Group, announced the appointment on LinkedIn saying: “An excellent signing – pleased and chuffed to announce Anthony Lark as our new group managing director looking after all of our business-to-consumer (B2C) businesses and more than 2,000 colleagues.
“Having joined us from Countrywide seven years ago, Anthony has roared up the ranks into our most senior role and is now responsible for delivering our five-year plan.
“Congratulations,” Smith added.
Lark said: “I’m over the moon to have been given this great opportunity. Spicerhaart is a very special business and we have extremely exciting plans for growth over the next five years.
“I’d like to thank Paul for his support,” he added.
