The awards focus on how brokers have been supporting their local communities through the provision of quality advice, outreach and advocacy work in their local areas.
The award categories are split into 12 local regions with those firms successfully shortlisted, invited to Birmingham’s historic Town Hall on 11 March 2020 where the winners and highly commended firms will be announced.
NatWest head of intermediary mortgages, Graham Felstead, said: “We launched the NatWest Intermediary Solutions Local Hero Mortgage Awards to celebrate the hard work and commitment of mortgage adviser firms who go that extra mile to support their communities and provide sound financial advice for those consumers within their locality.
“We were delighted with the response from the industry to the launch of this initiative and the number of entries we received.
“The winning firms exemplified putting the customer and their local community at the heart of everything they do, in addition to providing sound financial advice for those consumers within their locality.
“We are pleased to announce that we are now launching our 2020 Local Hero awards with the presentation evening being held in March,” he added.
