Santander UK has appointed Tracie Pearce as its chief customer officer for homes in the UK, with similar responsibility across European markets.
Pearce will lead the strategic development, digital transformation and innovation of the UK mortgage business and as European regional business owner will help drive an ‘improved customer experience’, according to the lender.
Pearce joins from HSBC UK where she was director of retail banking with responsibility for its mortgage business and personal banking products. Her CV includes product roles at several building societies, including Nationwide leading mortgages and subsequently savings, Portman Building Society and The Mortgage Works and Sun Bank.
She joins the executive committee of Santander UK and the retail executive team for Europe.
