Cambridge and Counties Bank expands Yorkshire real estate team
Cambridge and Counties Bank has appointed Simon Steer to the role of senior relationship manager in the real estate finance team in Yorkshire.

 

Based out of the bank’s Sheffield regional office, Steer (pictured) will report to regional director Carl Ashley.

He joins the specialist lender with almost 24 years’ experience in banking. His previous roles include a six-year stint as broker business development manager at NatWest and 14 years at Royal Bank of Scotland, including 10 years as a business development manager in Huddersfield.

Cambridge and Counties Bank reported enhanced demand for its real estate product suite in 2021 across the UK. The bank said there is a need for the provision of funding for acquisition and re-financing of industrial estates, warehousing assets along with residential investment buy to let portfolios throughout Yorkshire.

Steer said: “I’m delighted to have joined Cambridge and Counties Bank as the bank significantly builds its footprint and capabilities across the UK.
