Responsible Life appoints Sara Robinson head of business development
Later life mortgage brokerage Responsible Life has hired Sara Robinson (pictured) as its head of business development.
She joins from Equity Release Associates, part of Age Partnership Group, where she was for two and a half years. She started out as a general manager before being promoted to director of adviser services.
Robinson brings two decades of experience in financial services to Responsible Life. She previously worked at Age Partnership, Key Retirement Solutions and Skipton Financial Services.
Robinson’s appointment is the latest senior addition to the Responsible Group. Last month, the company appointed Tom Moloney as advice director at Responsible Life and appointed Chris Flowers as intermediary sales director at its lending arm Responsible Lending.
Tim Waterlow, managing director of Responsible Life, said: “It’s very exciting to have Sara onboard to help us grow these incredibly important channels. We want to become the destination of choice for advisers wishing to build and develop their businesses in this sector.”
Robinson added: “This is now one of the fastest moving parts of the financial services landscape as issues such as inflation, the pension gap and loan affordability combine to fuel rapid growth in specialist later life lending. It’s the perfect time to join Responsible.”
