Brokerage CLS Money makes strategic promotions
Mortgage advice firm CLS Money has made a series of promotions to its leadership team.

CLS Money has promoted mortgage and protection adviser Paul Merrett to sales director, mortgage adviser Gemma May has been appointed operations director, while client relationship team manager Nicky Sheppard has been made HR and finance director.

All three had no prior experience in the mortgage sector and began their careers with CLS Money.

The firm said their promotions demonstrated CLS Money’s commitment to nurturing its talent and providing opportunities for progress.

CLS Money: ‘Promotions a source of immense satisfaction’

Clayton Shipton (pictured), managing director of CLS Money, said the promotions were a “source of immense satisfaction”.

He continued: “These leaders have not only demonstrated exceptional skills but have also embraced the company’s values and vision. The trio’s commitment and hard work have been pivotal in achieving CLS Money’s objectives.

“The strategic decision to promote from within aligns with CLS Money’s aggressive expansion plans for the next five years. I believe in fostering a culture that encourages continuous learning and rewards dedication. By promoting individuals who started with no mortgage experience, the company sends a clear message about its dedication to creating opportunities for growth and progression.”

Shipton added: “These promotions also signify a vote of confidence in the existing team, showcasing CLS Money’s belief in the potential of its employees. As the company gears up for an ambitious future, Merrett, May, and Sheppard are poised to play crucial roles in steering CLS Money toward its goals.”
